What are the main differences between a Brew Bucket and a Chronical series fermenter?

Here are just a few of the differences:

  1. Buckets have a flat lid, Chronicals have a domed lid
  2. Chronicals have yeast dump valve on bottom, Buckets don't.
  3. Chronicals have 3 pc ball valves, Bucket have 2 pc valve (one)
  4. Chronicals have standard thermowell, Bucket only comes on Brewmaster series

All that said, the Bucket is more than just "entry level", as there are many commercial breweries in Southern California using Brew Buckets in their pilot beer or hop testing operations (Stone Brewing is one example)
