As a Pico Brew owner, you may not want to ferment in a corny keg, and instead, utilize a Chronical.
This guide will cover how to retrofit ball lock fittings onto the Chronical's ball valves. To do this with your Chronical but avoid drilling holes and utilize your valves instead, you will need three things:
- A Corny keg post adapter. This allows a post to be mounted using 1/4” MPT threads. Here is a link to one I have personally used before.
- Then you can use a 1/2” to 1/4” Stainless NPT reducer bushing to mount the post to your Chronical’s ball valve outlet. You can find that fitting here.
- Lastly, You will require a liquid line corny keg post, these are easy to come by, but might as well use Williams since your purchasing the adapter from them also. Here is a link.
That should be able to get you to the goal line. Just remember to use Teflon tape to seal all threaded fittings.
