How much dead space is there in the InfuSsion Mash Tun

With our 5-degree conical center drain, there is no "Mash-Tun Loss" / unrecoverable mash volumes on our InfuSsion Mash Tuns.

There is a small amount that is UNDER the false bottom, and therefore not part of the grist-to-water ratio for the mash. Using a program such as BeerSmith or Brewfather you would set the “Mash-Tun Dead space" / Recoverable mash dead space to these volumes: 

1.2 liters for the 10gal 

3.3 liters for the 20gal
