What is the best way to dump the trub on your Chronical series fermenters???

Normally you would want to dump trub into a shallow dish or pie pan. If you want to use a hose to direct it into another container, then you have some options. Oh, and you’ll probably want to buy the ¾” hose barb off of our site in the Accessories section (those are really hard to find other places, so we made one!)

One thing to keep in mind is depending on the beer and the yeast, the trub can range from runny and thin to a thick pasty sludge. As such you never want to use tubing that is too narrow diameter.

But anyway, since you are just going to dump this in the trash don’t knock yourself too much – keep it simple!
