SVBS | Immersion Chiller Setup and Use

The SVBS | Immersion Chiller is an optional accessory for SVBS brewers. The Immersion chiller paired with some ½” ID tubing can be attached to most water sources including a typical garden hose via a ½” hose barb adapter. 

To use the Immersion Chiller, simply rinse the coil assembly with clean water and then place it in your SVBS, making sure the upper assembly mounts into the Basket Supports in the kettle. This can be done 15 minutes before the end of your boil or you can sanitize the coil and place it in the kettle once your boil is done. Once you are finished chilling, remove the Immersion Chiller and rinse it off with warm water and then clean using a brewery cleaning product like PBW. It is suggested that users allow the coil to drain before placing it into storage for the next brew day. 

Pro Tip: you can collect some of the warm water exiting the Immersion Chiller into buckets or jugs and use it for cleaning your SVBS after the brew day is finished!
