Will Citric Acid hurt my etched markings?

This is a question that we get quite often since many people are moving toward using citric acid to passivate their Ss Brewtech gear.

The answer is a simple no, CITRIC ACID WILL NOT HARM THE ETCHED MARKINGS on our products.

The warnings that we have included in our quick start guides (and that you'll see in other places in the FAQ's) is for cleaners and other products that contain Oxalic Acid (Bar Keeper's Friend, Kleen King, and Revere Ware Stainless Cleaner are some example) since Oxalic acid WILL cause your etched marking to fade.
